Residents speak

  1. PETER, Project Engineer:

I work for Lagos State Public Works. I must say that we have been enjoying maximum cooperation from the community since we started this job. They also gave us a place where we have been parking our trucks, equipment and construction materials.

We are also planning to do the drainage system and the pavement section so that water can flow freely into it.

  1. KEHINDE OGUNMOLA:

We are very happy with the work which is going on at the moment, and we appreciate it a lot. If the government can keep doing this, we will be happy. We always want the government to put in more efforts so that this project can be completed on time. This is because dust is affecting us.

  1. KAREEM LAWAL, Furniture Maker:

I am grateful to the government of Akinwunmi Ambode for the project going on at the moment. Although, it looks like a form of disturbance, but when everything is done, it will become a thing of joy.

Some house fences were demolished because the owners of the houses went beyond the point they were supposed to stop. If they had done the right thing, the construction wouldn’t have affected them.

MRS. AMOS RACHEL, Fashion Designer:

I have been a resident of this place for some years now and I am so glad with the work going on at the moment. I am happy with the way the government is developing this community because it was not like this before. I am saying well-done to Governor Akinwumi Ambode.
