Beneficiaries of Jimi Benson’s entrepreneurship training speak about their experiences

ADEROJU LADEGA (B.Sc) University of Maiduguri:

I thank God for this graduation. It has been a successful one. I studied graphic design, where I learnt a lot and I am now going into ACADA, an online platform where students, readers, parents, lecturers of scholars could always get books, past questions and answers, etc. to buy.

I had a great experience during my training and appreciate Hon. Benson for empowering us, the youths in a special way, I also commend that ‘i Care Foundation’ for a wonderful job.

OLALEKAN BILIAMIN (HND) Mass Communication, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta:

Hon. Jimi Benson gave us more than empowerment. I call it development because someone has been nurtured, built and shown the right path to take, through this programme.

Hon. Benson’s ‘I Care Foundation’ has done what should be done to develop the youths. Being in business already I actually went through how to manage my business. We got exposed to many professionals, who enlightened us on how we can successfully manage our businesses. They include Bankers and other professionals.

I am thankful to Hon. Benson for all he had done for me and others. He had shown himself to be a man of vision. Let’s support and rally round him so that he would continue to do more.

SHITTU IBRAHIM (B.SC), Olabisi Onabanjo University:

I am very glad for being one of the beneficiaries of this programme. It is a rare opportunity and I thank God for His grace. I also extend my appreciation to ‘i Care Foundation.’

I underwent training in CCTU installation and I am now a certified CCTV installator. I appreciate Hon. Benson for all he had done and for inspiring us. May he continue with his good works and God would reward him.

ABIMBOLA ADETOLA (B.A), Olabisi Onabanjo University:

Actually I graduated from the printing department of Hon. Jimi Benson’s programme and I say a big ‘thank you’ to him and the ‘i Care Foundation’ for this great job.

SHOBERU TITILAYO (HND), Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic:

The experience was quite worthwhile. I have been unemployed for five years since I graduated.  I have not known anything about printing but through this programme, I am now a printer, I advise the youths out there to embrace vocational training instead of wasting their time searching for white collar job.

I commend and appreciated Hon. Benson for this wonderful opportunity. I also thank his I care foundation for training entrepreneurs for the betterment of the youths.

CALEB (B.SC Economics), Ebonyi State University:

Hon. Benson is a very special politician because he fulfils all his promises unlike other politicians, who promise and fail. I studied CCTV installation and I am happy that I can do it by myself and earn money from it. I must also commend ‘I Care Foundation’ for this creativity, initiative and great support. I say kudos to them!

WOLE EKUN:

The incubation class has really empowered me. We have been well-trained, we have been given the necessary keys. All we need to do now is to unleash our potentials. So, I thank Hon. Babajimi Benson for doing this for us and I pray that his family would be blessed in Jesus name.

FASASI EWULOKO FATMAH (B.Sc), Lagos State University (LASU):

I am very glad that today became a reality. So, I thank God Almighty for this beautiful opportunity. Through this programme, I now believe in what I can make of myself and not what people can make out of me. My sincere appreciation goes to Hon. Babajimi Benson and his “I Care Foundation’ team, especially, Mayor Deen Sonwoola for this great opportunity and wonderful programme. May God bless you all.

RASHEED ADEDEJI FATUGA (B.SC), Mass Communication, LASU:

I studied graphics and my experience is very enormous. I had always dreamt of becoming a graphics designer and now it has become a reality with the help of ‘I Care Foundation’ of Hon. Babajimi Benson.

I pray that God would continue to bless him abundantly. Kudos to him and his wonderful team in the ‘I Care project.’

SALAUDEEN SHEU TIJANI (B.SC), Economic, LASU:

I gain a lot from this programme and I now have a key to my success in my hand. Though the training I have realized that failure is a choice and poverty is as a result of lack of ideas. I now know that I don’t have to wait until I have huge capita before starting a business. With just fifty naira (N50,00) now I can begin a good business. As an entrepreneur, I know I should be positive in my business activities.

For me, Hon. Benson is the best Ikorodu division had ever got and God will continue to keep him for us.

AKINOLA MARIAM (HND) Banking and Finance, Osun State Polytechnic:

This programme is empowerment in a greater dimension, this is because it is not about just giving the youths fish but teaching them how they could begin to fish by themselves. Hon. Jimi Benson has really tried for every one of us. I appreciate him and now I am a fashion designer, so, “I Care Foundation should
