Cultists’ activities, which have crippled Ikorodu town for sometime now have spread over to neighbourning community in Ijede. The corpse you are seeing here is one of the cultists killed recently at the lion junction, Ijede by an unknown gang.
According to one of our sources, he said the corpse is the body of one Tunde Wasiu, who was one of the four boys murdered in different area of Ijede community.
Like in Ikorodu, it was alleged that the cultists or area boys were being sponsored by wealthy individuals for their own selfish interests, especially for land acquisition.
As at the time of going to the press, no official statement had been released by the police command but what is sure is that those deaths including that of Wasiu were as a result of clashes between the cultists.
However, the parents in the community are mourning the death of their children and have appealed to the police authority to nip the situation in the bud.
