Here is a photoramic coverage of one year activities of His Majesty Oba Kabiru Shotobi ranging from his days in Ipebi to his traditional coronation in Awofin down to his busy month in August 2015 when he celebrated his coronation.
The photos show the Kabiyesi’s two trips to the United State of America with his wife, daughter, advisory council members, some Chiefs, his friends and associates in Nigeria and abroad.
They include the historic hosting by his godfather, Dr. Bob Brown, the contacts with some American Investors, Oba Shotobi’s presentation of a copy of Oriwu Sun Newspaper to the Governor of North Carolina, the award by Black America activists to the monarch, the chieftaincy installation of Dr. Bob Brown in USA, the unveiling of Oba Shotobi’s Statue in Greensboro and other events between February 2016 and the 1st Anniversary in August also show casing the kabiyesi’s horse men – Kaoli Olusanya, Monzor Olowosago, Ayodele Elesho, Lamidi Gbadamosi and Sulaimon Ogidi and other players and stakeholders who have made the kabiyesi’s first year in office eventful.
