Olori Shotobi, the Treasure of our time, is, no doubt, making her marks within the Ikorodu community by drawing up various programmes to symbolize the Obaship kingdom and to support her husband.
Last Christmas, the glamorous, black ebony Queen, organized a befitting, enjoyable Christmas party for the children in the local government. The event, which attracted more than five hundred children drawn from primary schools in Ikorodu, was indeed a huge success that would be in the memory of the children for a long time to come.
For more than six hours, it was joy and fun galore, as not only the children but even adults enjoyed themselves. The children were presented gifts of various sorts by Santa, who also played and danced with the children. The occasion was a melting pot of fun as everyone presented threw banters among themselves.
The high point of the event was when parents and dignitaries came to the floor reveled, engaged in dancing and partied while other guests and onlookers lined up the venue to watch them. It was a credit to Olori Kudirat Shotobi for being a big builder to the entire palace. After the party, it was the turn of Kabiyesi to address the children. While he advised them to face their studies, he urged the parents to make sure that their children were given sound education to make them better leaders in future.
At the end of the party, kabiyesi invited guests for luncheon in the palace, where the caterer, Abitop, provided sumptuous foods and drinks. It was a new dawn in the palace and a great occasion made possible by the royal couple.
