Since Abayomi Alaka’s arrest and discharge, there have been several debates going on within the community.
Alaka’s close friends told Oriwu Sun that the Police should ask him what his relationship is with Dimeji Bankole; Kamson, the former Ambassador of Nigeria to Jamaica and late Stephen Keshi.
We also heard that Yomi Alaka does not believe in God and that he is a semi-illiterate man, who is worth millions of dollars, which he used to buy properties in various places in the country. According to them, he has mansions, not only in Ikorodu, but also in Ibadan and other places scattered around the country. They desire that Alaka be interrogated and questioned by the EFCC over his source of wealth at the age of fifty (50).
They disclosed that before his arrest, he was always moving with Police and Security Officials, who serve as his escorts wherever he goes, and that he has dozens of Police Officers as friends.
The question is, “Why would a young man of fifty (50) years, an illiterate, be moving around with Policemen, if not to cover his tracks for his ill-gotten wealth?
