Ever since his outburst on the incumbent Commissioner of Police, Mr. Edgal Imohimi, when he said the Police Boss should examine his brain for arresting him without charge, Mr. Alaka had been on the run. While some people alleged that Abayomi Alaka was in Ogbomoso, Oyo state, others say that he is very much around but disguises himself anywhere he goes to avoid being lynched.
Oriwu Sun’s investigation revealed that Alaka is very much around in Lagos and only last month, we saw him inside Federal Low Cost Housing Estate, Ikorodu, disguised as usual, to meet with one of his wives. Unlike before, he now moves around in black Jeep with body guards.
Oriwu Sun reporters also noticed that activities around his event center mansion has slowed down unlike before when the place was always hustling and bustling. This time around, only few people were being seen around the multi-million naira edifice. They are staff and workers many believe were there to prevent the place from being set on fire.
Some of the people we interviewed told Oriwu Sun that they were watching to see how the Police would deal with the case. They have vowed that if the man comes to Ikorodu, they would make it hard for him to operate.
The question now is, after his arrest, has the Badoo issue finally been laid to rest? Time will tell.
