Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Chief of Staff Tayo Ayinde have come a long way. They have been friends since the time of former Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu was governor of Lagos State. They were so close that they discuss everything under the sun, visit each other and maintain close ties.
Unknown to them, 20 years later providence will bring them even closer to work for the development of the state.
Tayo Ayinde, who is today Chief of Staff to Governor Sanwo-Olu has vowed to work for the governor and debunked rumor that he is interested in being the next governor. Rather, he is moving on to a higher calling. He resolved that should God decide that the two will come back in another term, he will still work for Governor Sanwo-Olu.
The governor on his own part, spoke many nice things about Tayo Ayinde during his recent birthday. The governor told the whole world nice things about his chief of staff.

The “Buffalo” as he is fondly called, served as my campaign DG and today he is the powerhouse that helps ensure governance in Lagos operates smoothly at all levels.
