Quality food in Muna

For the past four years, the Lagos State government has been providing food for its pilgrims in Muna and Makkah, usually appreciated by  Lagosians.

This year, there was a new dimension to the food which became another score for the Amirul Haj, Dr. Abdullateef. He as well as the coordinators and others who helped to cater for the pilgrims ensured that the food contract was given to a competent hand, who delivered excellent and delicious menu.

This reporter interviewed many pilgrims and each came out with the same verdict, “This is it!” They said that in the past, they used to buy their own foods in Muna and Makkah, but this year, the service was renewed by a superb Nigerian. Whether it was bread and tea, spaghetti, vegetable soup, rice, meat or fish, the food was so tasty and delicious that many felt satisfied.

They were not only proud of the superb food contractor (Alhaji Abdul Waheed Raheem a.k.a Alarafa), they were also grateful to Governor Ambode and the Amirul Haj for the wonderful treat.

The same Alarafa received praises for his role in providing the pilgrim with good accommodation. They wished him well and prayed that the State government will retain his services for the pilgrims.
