Otunba Awomodu bags IKODASS award, donates N2million

A total of twenty two (22) individuals bagged this year’s prestigious IKODASS awards, with one of them in the oil and gas industry giving N2milion, the highest donation of the night from the honourees.

Chief (Dr.) Otunba Awomodu Adegoke, an engineer working in the energy sector of the Nigerian economy who was decorated with IKODASS Fellowship Award, was one of the eight personalities in that category which also included the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Central Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adesina and his counterpart in Ikorodu North LCDA, Hon. Adebisi Banjo.

Eleven persons received the 2017, Associate Award, while three got the 2017 Security Award. The recipients were decorated in a colourful ceremony held on Sunday November 12, 2017 at the Town Hall (see full list on page 7).

The well attended Award ceremony held on the second day of the week long Oga Day Celebration, was the next strong statement after the outstanding Woro Dance event, showing the unprecedented success of this year’s festival. Hence, the award will be treasured by the recipients for a long time to come.
