Monzor Olowosago now NASFAT’s Council of Elders chairman

The Publisher of Oriwu Sun, Alhaji Monzor Olowosago,  has been elected the new Chairman of NASFAT Council of Elders.

The Publisher, who was once the Chairman of NASFAT for five years, after a lull  of about three years of not having any executive activities, during which he also contributed positively towards the growth of NASFAT in Ikorodu, has been appointed again to head the Council of Elders.

During the election of the nineteen (19) members, the Publisher captured sixteen (16) majority votes to be elected as the Chairman. He was immediately sworn in and he pledged to serve the society, but not without asking the cooperation of other members for him to be successful in running the council.

He also promised to improve further and extend the development laid down by the former members, Alhaji Oshoala.

You would recall that during the last five years of his Chairmanship of NASFAT, Ikorodu branch, the Publisher, with the support of God and members, completed the building of  the mosque.

By the grace of God and with the support of members, he performed the commissioning in grand style. Alhaji Olowosago also built a nursery and primary school for the branch, which is still running till today. Apart from that, he also bought a Toyota bus for the mosque and today, he has sponsored about five members of the branch on holy pilgrimage.

There is no doubt that when the history of the branch would be written, even at the national level, Olowosago’s name would be etched in gold.
