Lagos pilgrims enjoy 4-star hotel accommodation in Medina

There seems to be an answer and a positive response to our prayer and story on the poor accommodation Lagos pilgrims had during last year (2015) Hajj in Medina.

The Publisher of Oriwu Sun, Alhaji Monzor Olowosago, filed a report to the presidency and the National Haj Commission last year and even confronted the officers in charge of pilgrims’ accommodation in Medina over the unsuitable accommodation for Lagos pilgrims. His complaint to the Haj officials was bitter.

It seems that the message reached its destination and this year, the story was different. A four star hotel was provided for our pilgrims. All pilgrims from Lagos State were accommodated near the Prophet Mosque in Medina and enjoyed standard hotel facilities.

Kudos to the Amirul Haj, Dr. Abdullateef and to National Haj Commission officials, who hearkened to the complaints we made last year.

We pray that they continue to have a listening ear and to continue to guarantee stress free Haj for Nigerian pilgrims as a whole.

May Allah strengthen and give them wisdom and resources to execute successful Haj in the years ahead.
