How retired justice Fatai Adeyinka died

While the people of ikorodu are yet to come to terms with the news of the demise of the former secretary to the Lagos State Government, Princess Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya. The news of the death of Justice Afolabi Abdulfatai Adeyinka (Rtd) came as a shock to the minds of those who love him and those who have been impacted by his life. s

The body of Justice Adeyinka being committed to earth

The Late justice died in the arms of his loving wife who has been nursing him from the time he feel ill in the early hours of Thursday 27th January and has since been buried according to Islamic rites at his residence at Radio, Ota Ona. He was ages 82 years

Justice Adeyinka attended the Ereko Methodist School, Lagos, between1947 and 1954, He later procedded to the Anwar-Islam College, Agege, where he obtained his O’ levels between 1955 and1959. After his O’ levels, he proceeded to the United Kingdom and attended  Leeds College of Commerce, England, 1961-1963, Holborn College of Law, London, 1964-1966, Woolich Polytechnic, London, 1967-1968. He came back to Nigeria and attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos, 1968-1969.

Justice Adeyinka aside from being a retired Judge of the High Court of Justice Lagos, also served as a chairman Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC). He was a member of the Oriwuclub Ikorodu. He is survived by his wife and 5 children with great grand children, he will be surely missed for his generosity and great acts of philanthropy within Ikorodu and beyond.
