Go to the beautiful LAMATA flower garden built by the Lagos State Government beside Ayangburen Pry School, Ikorodu garage area, a one of a kind garden built for beautification of this part of the mega city.
Today, that garden, the first and best, is an eyesore. People defecate indiscriminately in the garden, dump refuse, urinate there and do all manner of dirty things.
Yet, this is Ikorodu, which saw the beautiful gardens built by Fashola’s government in Ikoyi, Victoria Island and other parts of the state and yearned for the same here. Now that it is here, our people have turned it to a garbage dump.
What a shame, Ikorodu!
Expensive and extravagant shit in an expensive garden that would have served as a love nest, a recreation spot and a tourist attraction. Haba!
