Estate Primary School pupils, teachers celebrate silver jubilee anniversary; visit publisher for contributions to school

Pupils of the Estate Primary School, located within the Federal Low-cost Housing Estate, Ikorodu, on Monday, December 3, 2018, paid an unscheduled visit to the Publisher of Oriwu Sun, Chief (Dr.) Monzor Olowosago, at his office located within the Estate.

The pupils, who were more than one hundred (100), were led by their Head teacher, Mrs. Olanrewaju L. O. her assistant, Mrs. Olawale O. V. and several other staff members.

They had come to formally inform him about the on-going Silver Jubilee Anniversary of the school, which was scheduled to hold on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, and to also thank him for the multi-million naira ultra-modern block of classrooms and offices he donated to the school last December 7, 2017.

The excited school children displayed a big banner, which carries information about the anniversary celebration, and also sang several songs to praise and thank Chief Olowosago for his unique and exemplary contributions to the development of their school.

Chief Olowosago, in his brief response, thanked the pupils and their teachers for the honour and respect accorded him with the visit.

He advised the pupils to be serious with their studies and be of good behaviours in order to excel in life.

The Publisher also urged them to shun acts capable of derailing the efforts and investment by their teachers and parents towards making them successful in future.

He equally commended both the teachers and parents for their efforts in giving the pupils sound education and prayed that God would continue to strengthen and provide for them.
