When Kafayat Abisola Lawal, a banker with the First Bank of Nigeria Plc., last year, went to Ikeja Shopping Mall (Shoprite), she never thought that she would meet her husband, Olumide Ajumobi.
After meeting him, she found out that the groom, Olumide was not only a gentleman that has genuine love for her, but was also very caring.
The handsome and tall Olumide, who is into logistics, shipping, clearing and forwarding, graduated from Babcock University. Though, Bisola said that she is from Osun State and her husband from Kwara State, she could not help but thank her mum for standing by her and giving her full support for the wedding.
Olumide, in an interview with Oriwu Sun, stated categorically that what attracted him to his wife was her beauty. To him, Bisola is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to him. Hear him: “She is a woman of inestimable value, awesome, beautiful and has got everything I need to build my home.” Last December 16, 2017 was the year both families, Alhaji Muraino Akande and Alhaja Kafayat Oluwatoyin Lawal and Rev (Chief) Mrs. Lady Evangelist Ajikobi decided to honour their children by solemnizing the marriage between Bisola and Olumide at the Rainbow Events Hall, Itoikin Road, Ikorodu.
The modest wedding, which had more than five hundred guests (500) inside the hall, was, no doubt, one of the best wedding organized in December, 2017.
From 10:00am, when the Nikkai and Engagement ceremony started till the reception time, which started around 2:00pm, there was no dull moment. Friends from both families made sure that they provided a befitting wedding preparation for the children. Both parents were dressed elegantly to the envy of their guests, and when it was time for the couple to dance, it was a sight to behold as friends and admirers stepped up to shower them with crisp naira notes.
This paper was there and captured the mood of the moment. We can only wish them a blissful marriage.
