We may not have visited the White House Press Center in USA or its counterpart in Downing Street in London (UK), but what Governor Ambode unveiled recently at Alausa for the Press Crew covering the seat of Government is a world class edifice.
This first class Accountant/Auditor and a brilliant Administrator has excellent taste. He must have felt embarrassed by the poor state of the former press center that covered his activities in office; hence, he decided to build this spectacular center with state of the art furniture, decorations, ceilings and walls, gadgets and equipment, etc., to project his programmes. The office of his Chief Press Secretary is superbly furnished with brilliant satin lailak colours and exquisite furniture.
Press men and women can now work in full air conditioned and cosy atmosphere to increase their comfort, efficiency and output. The conference room is like International Centers in Paris, United Nations office, and renowned meeting places of the world.
We congratulate Ambode and wish the Lagos Press Crew a more profound achievement in the years ahead.
