A busy day for our youths as IKODASS engages them with debates, quiz, boxing, body building, beauty contest

school and Ijomu Muslim Primary School came second and third respectively. In the Essay Writing Competition, Tolisade Ebenezer from United School clinched the first position while Shittu Elizabeth from Majidun Senior College and Shorunke Dorcas from Oriwu Model College emerged runners up. In the Body Building Contest, contestant No.1 emerged overall winner while contestant No.7 and No. 2 emerged runners up respectively.

The Chairman of the day, Mr. Sogo Osikoya, advised the youths and children to embrace commitment, dedication and utmost discipline. He urged them not to underestimate themselves but to start discovering their potentials because they are future leaders. He thanked those, who made the Day 5 of the Ikorodu Oga Day celebration successful, particularly the IKODASS Executives, Oba Shotobi, his wife and other traditional chiefs present.

The last programme of the day, which was the Boxing Competition slated for evening, kicked off at exactly 5pm. The ring was already set for boxers, whose ages ranged between the ages of five (5) to ten (10), eighteen (18) to twenty (20), and twenty five (25) to thirty (30). It was like a battle field in the ring as the boxers engaged one another to emerge winners. They were all determined to give the crowd one or two stories to tell at the end of the competition.
