PAJ movement throws support for Tinubu’s presidency, commends Sanwo-Olu, Abiru, Jimi Benson

As the 2023 General Elections gather momentum, a socio-political group in lkorodu, Prince Adedoyin Jokotex (PAJ) Movement, has declared its support for the Presidential ambition of the former Governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The declaration was made at the Movement’s end of the year party held on Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Jokotex Hotel located opposite Lucky Fibre Company, Parafa, Ikorodu.

At the well-attended event, members of the group, led by their leader and convener, Hon. Prince Adedoyin Ogunbiyi Ogunneye Jokotex, also pledged to give their support to the political ambitions of the trio of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Senator Tokunbo Abiru and Hon. Babajimi Benson come 2023.

The Movement was formerly a political group formed by Prince Adedoyin to promote his political ambition in lkorodu North LCDA where he contested for the Chairmanship seat under the APC in the last Council elections and lost to the incumbent Chairman in the primary elections.

The young, promising and budding politician later collapsed the group into PAJ Movement with the motto,  ‘Caring for Humanity’, after the council electioneering, to render humanitarian services to the people, especially the less privileged in Ikorodu North particularly and lkorodu division in general, as a way of giving back to the society.

Declaring his group’s 4-cardinal support strategy for Asiwaju Tinubu and others, Prince Jokotex said that:

“Today, we have seen the capacity of Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, who came from the private sector to transform our communities not just only in Ikorodu division but in all district he represents.

His numerous TACT initiatives on Education, Small Business Empowerment and Infrastructures is marvelously impacting beings and bestowing hope to the despondent.

“Representing Ikorodu federal constituency as a member of the House of Representatives, Hon Babajimi Benson has in every direction, contour and model displayed his tenacity to boast every sector across Ikorodu division; in road channeling, light or electricity facilitation, strengthening our agricultural sector and leveraging his iCare foundation to empower the needy on consecutive basis.

“It should be noted that PAJ movement members has also benefited from iCare food bank courtesy of Honourable Babajimi Benson.

“As a Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu now referred to as Mr Infrastructure has delivered beyond expectations.

“His last two years have no doubt graced the front pages of multiple of our nation’s dailies for various reasons, one of which is his outstanding performances since his assumption of office as the Executive Governor of Lagos State.

While the state is known by its catchphrase as the centre of excellence, it has also indeed proved itself as a state worthy to be emulated as it has solidified itself as a dominant state in terms of its expansion and development.

“This is why today, ahead of 2023, PAJ movement is officially declaring our unwavering support for my mentor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Our distinguished Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Hon Babajimi Benson and Mr. Governor (Babajide Sanwo-Olu)”

“They are the kind of leaders we need in this country to bring the preference change we clamour for. It’s proof in their offices that they only operate with the interest of the people at heart”

“As we kick off 2022 with numerous empowerment undertakings to spearhead our vision, it’ll be a simultaneous medium for us (PAJ Movement) to rally our base and ensure these leaders are  returned to serve our people as their assignment crescendo”, Prince Adedoyin Jokotex asserted.

Also, the guest speaker, Dr Ekene Ezeana, speaking at the event, expressed his delight at knowing Prince Adedoyin and described him as a rare politician.

He also described PAJ Movement as a progressive platform which is genuinely committed to the progress of people and good governance but that the movement cannot grow alone without the help and strength of its membership and the support of the people.

To this end, Dr. Ezeana urged members to remain committed to the principles and doctrines of the group to enable it achieve the set agenda and goals.
