The beautiful bypass from Ogolonto to Ebute constructed few years ago by Costeng Nig Ltd, has turned sour within a short time span. The road passing in front of two banks – Zenith Bank and First Bank facing Dangote Industries at the former Lighter Terminal Port is now in an appalling state. Huge pot holes and precarious craters now shaped the dual carriage way. The deep holes now causes traffic and ensnarls vehicles as it constitute a security risk for not only the road users but the two banks which four years ago suffered a heavy robbery attack.
Known for diverting heavy traffic away for the main Ikorodu road through Agric to Ikorodu round about, this important road will soon turn into a nightmare and cause unspeakable damage to people if it is not rehabilitated soonest.
The time is now before the big rains and all commuters to Ebute, Ibeshe, Igbogbo, Oreyo, Bayeku, Offin, etc. will be trapped.
