Pathetic story of Pastor Enahoro whom God help to cure mad people

3In a country polluted by anger, stress, frustration and poverty, many Nigerians have become psychiatric cases with many of them already gone mad.

One Christian, Pastor Enahoro, whose calling and anointing is to pray for mental cases and for God’s healing of mad people along the streets, is today facing his own challenges and frustration in obeying this divine call.

Whereas he would expect appreciative gestures from government agencies in charge of social welfare, medical and rehabilitation of special handicapped persons, the doors are being shut against him when he needs their complimentary assistance.

Also, when fellow Christian and Muslim believers ought to partner with him to offer help to the victim already delivered by God, he is looked upon with awe and sometimes with disdain.

Pastor Enahoro is facing the ardours task of praying for mad people and when God delivers such victims and the spiritual side of the problem is done, remaining the medical/physical sides and the financial rehabilitation of such people.

2Often times, Enahoro finds out that relations of some of these  people reject their own brothers/sisters healed even after the deliverance for economic reasons as they plead poverty and inability to rehabilitate the once-mad-relations.

Other times, delivered cases, according to Enahoro, need exhaustive medical/psychological reconstruction.  The bills fall back to the Samaritan pastor, who most times is overwhelmed and unable to meet up.

What about housing of the rejected ones?. He has been confronted with the challenge of providing shelter for some of these people since is not legally permitted to run such a rehabilitation center.

What do these delivered cases do to earn a living after returning to sanity? This is another big question Pastor Enahoro is confronted with. If the ministry in charge of health and welfare matters could help with rehabilitation of these cases, the story will be a lot better.

Pastor Enahoro, whom this newspaper had featured before, was in Oriwu Sun corporate office to lament over his recent experiences. In the past three years, Enahoro’s calling has saved mad persons along streets in Ikorodu division alone.

According to him, the first stage of handling a mad person is to deliver him or her from the demonic forces, which have colonized the person. This is the spiritual side of the healing process. It is after this stage that one can start the physical rehabilitation process – bath the person, clothe him or her, take him or her to hospital for checkup and treatment, then rehabilitating the person – food, shelter, and gainful employment.

1He recalls the case of one Mary Sola, who received a swift deliverance from God at Ikorodu Garage in 2014. Excited residents, who witnessed the healing, quickly gave their support. Some provided water to wash the woman, others looked for clothings for her, while some donated money for her feeding and hospital checkup.

Pastor Enahoro, with one Mountain of Fire Minister, took Mary to a private hospital in Ikorodu for basic treatment before taking her to her husband’s place at Ogijo, Ogun State.

There was jubilation as people who know her saw her in good shape. Mary’s son who was around came to welcome her mom. Mary was told that her husband had remarried. The new wife, after greeting Mary would not let her into the house because Mary’s husband was not at home.

Pastor Enahoro and his colleague had to plead with neighbours to shelter Mary for two or three days while he (Enahoro) made alternative arrangements for her accommodation.

By the time Enahoro came back, Mary’s young son, who was not patient had taken his mother to Sabo market because Mary’s husband would not take her back. The once mad person delivered went back to the demons that left her previously.

He also cited the case of one John Kakayuya from Sapele, Delta State, delivered on July 1, 2015 spiritually and now hospitalized in Oshodi psychiatric center. The 36 years old man is getting no help or support from anyone. The medical bill is coming to Pastor Enahoro to offset.

He spoke of the case of Busayo Owoeye, a twenty nine (29) year old boy from Igogo LGA of Ekiti State. He had been delivered spiritually by God. Now he sits in Enahoro’s home doing nothing. None of his relations or people has ever come to see him as if he is an abandoned property.

Some of the stories of these deliverances including those of John and Busayo are on the internet. The relations of John claim poverty and say they cannot help out.

Pastor Christopher Enahoro Iyoha lives in a rented apartment at Olayiwola Mubo Avenue, off Prince Adeleye Street, Bayeku, Ikorodu. Not wanting to be like Jonah in the Christian bible, who turned down God calling and assignment and paid a heavy price for it, Pastor Enahoro has been fully involved in this healing/deliverance ministry, living by charity and partly  fumigation jobs. He lives in a rented accommodation His rent is even due for renewal; yet, he has a compelling need to help these fortunate ones God delivered through his prayers/ministry.

It is true that a few of these delivered ones succeeded in going back to their people. For example, the one at Agric (Miss Gift), who went back to her boyfriend; then Miss Joy Thompson, who now works in Igbogbo and a few others.

Among the healed and rehabilitated victims are Ruka Olajire delivered at Ikorodu garage and now lives in Ibadan (see reunion photo with her Muslim relations); Mrs. Debora, healed in 2014, now lives at Olorunda in Abeokuta with her husband; Miss Grace Bassey was healed in 2014, now lives with her parents at Iju Ishaga after Ogba.

Pastor Enahoro draws attention of online readers to google, “Madman healed at Ketu, or Madman healed at Ikeja or Chronic madman healed in Ikorodu for details. Majority of these victims need rehabilitation; hence, the need for government agencies to provide accommodation, job opportunities and medicare for them.

Pastor Enahoro is optimistic that God could use anyone to help these challenged Nigerians, who have been spiritually delivered of their madness. Individuals into this worthy cause and support these victims in form of alms and tithes.
