5 youths earlier arrested for the murder of one Abiodun Osileye, has been order to be remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
The youth who are from Ikorodu are Ibrahim Abdulateef, 32; Adedimeji Taofeek, 21; Jimoh Akeem, 30; Adeniyi Adejimi, 46, and Samuel George, 24. They are facing a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy, unlawful assembly and murder.
The Ikeja magistrate court alleged that the 5 men and other who are at large shot and killed one Abiodun Osileye in the Oreta area of Ikorodu on the 19th of December, 2021.
The prosecutor, ASP Josephine Ikhayere, also alleged that the youths belong to the Aiye confraternity.
The prosecutor said the alleged offences contravened Sections 2(3)(a)(b)(d)(e), 222(1)(a)(b), 233 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos, 2015.
The Magistrate, M.O. Joseph, did not take the plea of the accused and ordered for the case files to be sent to the state director of public prosecutions for advice.
He further ajorned the case for mention till February 24th,2021
