3000 NASFAT memebrs organise special 4-hour prayer sessio for Chief Judge Alogba

Ikorodu NASFAT, one of the biggest and most progressive of all branches nationwide and worldwide was again in the news for good November 3, 2019 as they hosted a prominent son of the soil who ascended high office as the 3rd Chief Justice of Lagos State to be produced by Ikorodu division, Kazeem Alogba.

The two others who attained the position of Chief Judge of Lagos State are Justice Fatail Adeyinka and Justice Inumidun Akande but none of these two received the kind of welcome Kazeem Alogba got from NASFAT on November 3, 2019.

The new Chief Judge of Lagos State Kazeem Alogba is known for his humility, his utmost respect for Imams/Alfas and for his prayerfulness.

So, when Ikorodu NASFAT requested his approval to host a special prayer session for his tenure to be held at Akasolori mosque built by NASFAT, the Chief Judge did not hesitate to accept the invitation.

He mobilized his other professional colleagues, namely three judges, Dabiri, Adeniyi and Solebo his two wives and his children as well as his friends for this event.

As early as 10a.m on Sunday, November 3, 2019, more three thousand (3,000) NASFAT members had gathered at Akasolori to await the Chief Judge and his entourage.

When the leadership of NASFAT made this proposal, they never knew it will turn out this big.

The prayer session was so powerful, led by the Chief Missioner Musbau Muili, the entire Qur’an was covered. It was prayer upon prayer declaration upon declaration and a marathon spiritual exercise that lasted nearly four hours.

The Publisher of Oriwu Sun, Chief Monzor Olowosago was one of the anchor persons. Each time he took the microphone, the congregation hailed him Sheu Lafia.

Trust this humored journalist. He rocked the audience with jokes and laugher while the Muslim faithful admired and appreciated their host Kazeem Alogba and his delegation.

The Chief Judge had the opportunity by this visit to see the projects and achievements of NASFAT, in Ikorodu. They showed the mini mosque and nursery/pry school built by Chief Olowosago.

They showed him to the committee buildings the bakery and the laundry set up by NASFAT as well as the ablution, toiletries, generator house and security office.

The Chief Judge who was moved by what he saw was supported by his friends, family members and Muslim faithful to raise more than N2million for the organization. This amount will be used to start a medical/health center that will serve not only the NASFAT members but the larger society.

It was a huge success comparable only to the one held three years ago for the Publisher of Oriwu Sun, Alhaji Olowosago for his 65th birthday during which more than N2million was raised for the mosque.

The special prayers for Alogba extended to his professional colleagues who came with him and to his family members and friends.

The atmosphere in the mosque that day was spiritually charged. There was no way God would not have opened the heavens to receive these prayers.

No wonder the Chief Judge and his team were highly impressed and the joy shone on their faces throughout the event.

As for NASFAT member they were glued to the guests. Whereas, some would have left the mosque towards the end of the programme, none of them left. Many said they admired the humility and religiosity of the Chief Judge. Others said they had never seen him before hence it was an opportunity to behold him at close range.

There was no doubt that the event was one of the biggest ever hosted by NASFAT for a single person. It will surely go down memory lanes for those who witnessed it.
