The Lagos State Police Boss, Edgal Imohinmi, had ordered that construction workers on Alaka’s on-going project site in Ikorodu should vacate the premises.
Informed sources at the site told Oriwu Sun that, though, few staff were allowed to stay, it was, perhaps, to prevent the property from being vandalized by angry residents, who had initially vowed to bring it down.
When Oriwu Sun visited the place recently, only few staff were met sitting down and discussing. Since the Agbowa incident in Epe division happened, where shrines belonging to Alaka were located and demolished, his visits to the site have reduced considerably.
In the meantime, Ikorodu residents are waiting and watching to see when the man would be charged to court as promised by the Police
