Oriwu Sun predicted the emergence of this man as the next Head of Service in Lagos State when in our December 2018 edition, we shortlisted the eligibles and scored them on their strengths and weaknesses.
Today, we have been proved right that the man whom many feared had only spent a short time in service and had the potentials of being the longest serving HOS in recent times is the one that clinched the position.
So it became, that this brilliant and talented civil servant, who only after twelve (12) years in service has been appointed and inaugurated as the number one (No. 1) civil servant of the state by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
On December…., the day of his inauguration, it was joy galore in Alausa for his colleagues, his friends and his family members, all of who gathered to witness the elevation of their loved one.
Among the top dignitaries at the event was Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu whose presence was a sigh post that Hakeem must be one of Tinubu’s anointed children.
The presence of Jagaban shot up the grading of the event as the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), brought more colours to the event.
It was praise galore for Hakeem and for Governor Ambode who made this difficult decision from among the qualifiers, after all the lobbying to pick Hakeem as the right choice.
Everyone present acknowledge Hakeem’s credentials and achievements as people have confidence that he will deliver on the job.
Mr. Muri Hakeem Okunola just twelve (12) years in service will, by God’s grace, serve for twenty (20) years and is due to retire 2039.
